Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Healthy Space is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal follows the principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) .

All parties involved in the publication process, including editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher, are expected to adhere to ethical standards in relation to authorship, originality, peer review, conflicts of interest, and research integrity.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the academic merit of manuscripts and reviewers’ recommendations. Editors evaluate submissions fairly and without discrimination and ensure the confidentiality of the peer review process.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and are expected to conduct reviews objectively, maintain confidentiality, and declare any potential conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work, properly acknowledging sources, and complying with ethical standards related to plagiarism, data integrity, and authorship. Authors must promptly notify the journal of any significant errors discovered in their published work.

Handling of Ethical Issues

The journal takes all allegations of unethical behavior seriously and will investigate such cases in accordance with COPE guidelines. Where necessary, appropriate actions may be taken, including corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.
